You can see much of the lower...
You can see much of the lower portion of Windy's Windy Canyon route from this photo, which was taken from the vicinity of the "trailhead". Basically, you make your way to the base of the obvious narrow canyon below the ramp (visible at the base of Windy's steep - almost vertical - south face). Cutting up left and out of the canyon at the toe of the narrow slot in the photo, work your way up a ways until you can get onto the lower part of the ramp. From there, follow the ramp up, etc.
