Indeed, it is misery to leave, especially on this particular day because we were desperately searching for shelter from the wind and rain by that afternoon.

Thank you kind sir for your comment. This was the slide that got me started scanning my images back in '97. That whole roll of film (Kodachrome 64) had a rather strong yellow shift, so they didn't look very good at all. Amazing what can be done with the "digital darkroom"! -Bob

It's pretty tame compared to your fantastic action shots, Mr. Chalupa, but I do appreciate the comment. -Bob

Yeah right. Not to mention, most of my action shots are just butt shots :)

Thanks very much Kenzo! Coming from you it is a real compliment. I've greatly enjoyed your magnificent photography, both here at SP and on your website.

We love our North Cascades, and they make it quite easy to get nice photos. But nothing compares to the mountains in your part of the world, and your photograpy of them is wonderful. I think you must have the perfect job!

rbolton,

It is a idillic shot. It reflects the real spirit of the mountains. I go to the mountains just for seeing landscapes just like this picture of yours. Very good composition. Thanks for posting it.

Thank you very much for you comment. It was indeed peaceful that morning, but the weather was wild and anything but peaceful by the end of that day. -Bob
