Thanks TA, this is actually the view from our home. We enjoy a herd of 40 Elk meandering this creek all year round. Witnessed the worse bull fight 2 weeks ago I have ever seen right at this spot, blood and all. Cheers.

I enjoyed the Kananaski area of the Rockies when we went up there in 2005. Fun climbing and beautiful mountain scenery. Your picture realy shows that. We had a near miss on the climb Bridge To Far on Mt Kidd go to Mt Kidd and read the story by jwclimbs called No Kidding I think you will enjoy it. After our near miss we went and did a full moon climb on Louise Falls it was a unforgettable nite. If you have not climbed in Colorado yet come on down we will show you some unforgettable climbs. Good Luck and When in doubt climb higher. Cheers from the Ice Man Jerry Van

""You cannot stay on the summit forever; you have to come down again. So why bother in the first place? Just this: What is above knows what is below, but what is below does not know what is above. One climbs, one sees. One descends, one sees no longer, but one has seen. There is an art of conducting oneself in the lower regions by the memory of what one saw higher up. When one can no longer see, one can at least still know.""   --Rene Daumal
