This is the south ridge of...
This is the south ridge of Mount Ruth. Much of the country beyond the divide was heavily mined. Smaller operatons continue today. The pass on the left margin is Cracker Pass, where the first road across the Elkhorns was built. Its still there. The photo resolution is to poor to show well, but the faint bump on the horizon is the Strawberry Mountains. August 2005.
