Mountaineer is the peak farthest to the left of the distant peaks.

This photo was taken on the way to McDonald Peak, but Mountaineer and the route up the canyon to the right of it are clearly visible. This was taken in late June and shows the snow conditions in the canyon to the summit, however, the bottom 500 feet (the steepest part) is not visible in this pic.
