When we passed Dolga Njiva meadow a big avalanche swept the lower part of Kosutnikov Turn south face. On this day after a considerable snow fall and strong north winds southern slopes were more dangerous than the northern ones. December 11th, 2005.

Two young borders and a skier went on Sunday on Tolsta Kosuta. I passed them on Dolga Njiva meadow and asked for their intention. One of the borders said he had been below the summit of Tolsta Kosuta on Thursday. He said the snow was so good looking, hard, pressed of wind... And I said - that's the worst possible for stability.
