The Punta Giordani as seen... [ Sizes: Orig | Med | Small | Thumb ]
The Punta Giordani as seen...
The Punta Giordani as seen from the Valsesia (along the path to Rif. Barba Ferrero)
this is the best view of this summit, showing its high (700m) rock wall that makes it look like a big alpine peak and not (as it really is) the east shoulder of the Piramide Vincent.
from its summit a long rocky (but easy) ridge goes down to the Punta Vittoria (3435m) crossing a secondary spur called Cresta del Soldato (3611m)
