Thank you. It's a really wild, gorgeous area of the world not many people get to.

I'm a new one to SP. What kind of camera are you using to capture God's creations? Think I'll trade my camera in. Love your photos !!!

Thank you for the kind words. Welcome to SP! This picture was taken with my old Nikon, the cheapest one at the time. It mets it's fate while climbing in Olympic National Park. Many of my other shots were taken with my sis's borrowed camera, an Olympus, another cheap one. I guess all I can is that lighting is important to a photo, so maybe that's why mine turned out great. Thanks for stopping by. God bless:)

YES, you're right! But, I'll probably end up with an Olympus. In Arizona & southern Utah, there seems to be PLENTY of light. AND... God always seems to be doing His best here. REGARDS to you & your new bride; hope you don't have too many storms blowing your way. God bless !!!

In a moment, I feel calm. The perspective of the sky and serene water draw you calmly in toward the silhouette of the mountain. The silhouette's dark really makes this image. Really alluring. 10+ Vote.

Thanks for your earlier vote to my images. Pity that I never had a camera for many years. Still, over the coming winter I will write them.

Your welcome for the votes. And thank you for your compliment on my image. I was fortunate to be out at 11:30 at "night" to get this image. A lot of people talk about how great Denali is and stuff but SW Alaska has some incredibly remote places. I don't think human beings will ever venture there :)

maybe Big Foot is really out there somewhere.
