September 24th, 2005 - SP Icefest crew heading up the lower part of the North Couloir. Ahead is Michael Ybarra (MichaelJ), followed by Joe LeMay (jlemay), with Steve Larson right in front of me. Conditions in the couloir were a mixture of ice spatterings and crappy neve that was very irregular. Steve and Joe free-soloed the couloir, while I talked Mike into stopping where he was to rope up.
