Stage 3 of the Ptarmigan Traverse. Green spurs show diversions to climb major peaks along the route. (Details of the routes are left to whoever submits pages for those mountains.) Red spurs lead to bail-out exits down the South Fork Cascade River or West Fork Agnes Creek.

Hasn't voted | Thanks! It's exciting to be able to add something that's hardly mentioned in the guidebooks. Having all those pictures from others really helps, too.
I've started on Stage 4, and Stage 5 is mostly straightforward trail, so they should go quickly. Sorry I've been taking so long, but I spent most of December making a calendar of cloudscapes - 16 pages of photos, text, and spreadsheets. Came out OK, but I'm not sure I have the dedication to get that involved again. Happy New Year. -Eric
