Of my 45 years hiking the San Gabriels, Iron Mtn. and Ross are two of the peaks above 7000 ft I have not done. I met a party on top of Baldy once that did the Bear Flats Trail (5500 ft of gain), and were heading for the 3 Ts. They probably did over 10,000 ft. of gain and 20+ miles that day.
