Looking south into Devils Canyon (June 22, 2002). The Devils Canyon Trail makes a loop into the canyon but only goes a portion of the way into the canyon. Because ground vegetation is so thin in this arid region, blazing your own trail deeper into the wilderness is fun and easy (no "bushwhacking"!).
