| Lonely Vigil | [ Sizes: Orig | Small | Thumb ] | |||||||||||
Lonely Vigil (II 5.10-) on the "backside" (opposite to Colorado River) of Lighthouse Tower. Route climbs the tower in 4 pitches though upper two pitches are not really visible (key beginning traverse of P3 is noted though). P1 is a gear belay on a big ledge (some fixed stuff). P1.5 is a bolted hanging belay at the mouth of the stem box of P2. This belay should not really be used as you risk falling onto your belayer if you peel in the stem box. P2 is on another large ledge (bottom of it visible) and is well bolted. Shirley is rapping from top of P2 to the ground (2X 60 meter ropes; January 1, 2006). Comments [ Post a Comment ]
