Panorama shot of Taillon (3144m), from the Col des Tentes. This is a good starting point if you are coming from the french side. In the left background the Brèche de Roland, a famous mountain pass.



From this viewpoint, the normal route to Taillon first goes to the right (you can see the road), then traverses in front of Taillon under the snow collar, climbs up to a saddle near the waterfall in the left of the picture, over the saddle to Ref. de la Breche (hut), then up to the Breche de Roland, and then on the backside of the mountain where you ascend all the way to the summit.

Thanks Nelson. Apparently it wasn't even the first time this guy was downvoting, I hope they zap him. I'm glad other people still appreciate my photos.
