I enjoyed this one, 4 stars, and have a question since it is a 1984 pic, are you scanning this from a slide or do you have a negative? I've got a lot of pics that are on slides and oftentimes with the scanner transfer, I lose some color. I have posted quite a few from Mt. Rainier but only about 1/3rd of them scan within reason. Any hints? Thanks and again, very nice photo.

Dean-

In addition to my response I sent to you via email, this particular picture was scanned with Adobe Photoshop. It was dark, but dramatically improved with Corel Photo paint. The slide was dated, so color shift may have been a factor. The way it was originally scanned and the fact that I probably used a polarizer likely made this picture dark. Corel Photo Paint literally saved it almost two years after the original scan.

Thanks Aaron. I now remember that I used a polarizer on most of my Mt. Rainier pics but maybe the Corel Photo paint is just the answer I've been looking for.
