I'm happy to be perched on...
I'm happy to be perched on the summit of Old Guard Peak, with a view south to Spire Point. The Dome massif is just out of sight on the left.

We felt like Old Guard was climbed rarely compared to it's neighbor Sentinel. But from the north, it looked a little pointier, a little colder...a little better!

August, 2003. Photo taken by Theron Welch.
