Theron Welch (Oznid), just visible in red, following a spicy pitch of mixed snow and rock on the north side of the summit block. I'm belaying at a tiny notch, from which we'll switch to climbing on the sunny side.



This pitch and the one before really lived up to the cliche of ice axe in one hand, gripping rock with the other.
