We named the slabs seen here...
We named the slabs seen here to the left of our climbing line on the Northeast Buttress the "Cosmic Slabs", partly due to the swirling colors of black lichen and gray rock, partly because you'd have to be "cosmically insane" to try to climb them!



Rarely have I seen such massive, steep, crackless battlements. Really impressive and beautiful.
