Hasn't voted | I'd heard that the ladder was up there and that they had carried the fire hydrant up there too. Amazing feat. Hasn't voted | Mailbox peak, just about 30+ plus miles outside of Seattle has an interesting history. Its name is based on the fact that someone lugged a mailbox and planted it on the summit of this peak many years ago. Since then, the mailbox has been removed and replaced more than once. Recently though, a group of firefighters lugged a big ladder and a very heavy fire hydrant all the way to the top and placed them there.
