A closer view of Dome's...
A closer view of Dome's summits and the Dome glacier ice fall taken from the 6400' camp on Itswoot Ridge on August 20, 2001. The standard route traverses the nearly flat glacier from NW to SE, rises around crevasses to the central col, rounds up and over the snow ridge on the skyline, and curves back up to the Northeast summit block (the first fin/protuberance to the right of the col).
