The huge western wall, first...
The huge western wall, first successfully climbed in 1962, taken from Vega Urriello in July 2000, early morning.
Rather conveniently situated at the foot of the mountain is the large Delgado Ubeda refuge, run by the Asturian Mountaineering Federation. Originally built in 1954 and recently re-built to sleep 90! There is a permanent spring next to the refuge.
