Mt. Thomson from the East Ridge of Red Mountain on October 23, 2002. The classic West Ridge route goes up the rock where sun gives way to shade in the picture. Left of Thomson is Overcoat Peak (7,432 ft); on the right is Chimney Rock (7,727 ft).
