Mercadario is in the far distance: in the centre on the horizon. This was taken from Camp 2 on Aconcagua in January 2003.

Voted 10/10 | Hello Peter!
On your photo postted on Mercedario's page, you say that Mercedario is the little mountain behind those two closest one's.
When I was in Aconcagua, an argentinian guy said me that Mercedario was the mountain in the right! on the first plane.
I alway thought That one of those two mountains close to Aconcagua was Mercedario, but it is obvously that is not, cause they are too close and they are almost a twin mountain!
Do you know the names of those two mountains? | | Posted Oct 30, 2003 4:28 pm |

Hasn't voted | Pedro,
Not actually sure what the names of the mountains in the foreground of the picture are, but I am fairly sure that the one in the distance is Mercedario. The ones in the foreground are a lot lower: this was taken from camp 2 and they are even lower than that. I have a map somewhere - I'll get back to you!

Hasn't voted | The furthest is Mercedario, then Ramada (Remada?) and the flat one should be Mesa (Table in Spanish) are the closer ones. I get them mixed up most of the time. I’ve been to the top of Mercedario and ridden on horseback around Mesa and Ramada. They are worth a visit. Cheers William | | Posted Nov 10, 2003 1:20 pm |

Hasn't voted | The flat on just in front of Mercedario (far left) is Mesa. The one on the right would be Ramada. Cheers William | | Posted Nov 10, 2003 1:53 pm |
