This is the broad funnel between Mt. LeConte and Meysan Lake with several chutes. Conditions can vary a great deal depending on snow conditions. In dry conditions, the class 3 route is probably the best choice. Aug 25, 2002

Nice pic, Bob- pic's like these are greatly informative when actually looking for the route (or the way down!).

These pictures will be really helpful for when I attempt the Irvine, Mallory, LeConte, Corcoran traverse next weekend! Especially the shots of the waterfall pitch, although I still haven't found any pics of it when it has snow . . .
