Looks like you are trailing 2 ropes from your lead back to Shirley's belay. Just curious about purpose of 2 ropes?

You're right. I'm trailing a 9mm rope in addition to the lead (10.5mm) rope. Basically, we weren't sure about how the descent was going to go - thought we might have to rap the route, top pitch of which is 160 feet long.
