Clapadorie gorge from Forca... [ Sizes: Orig | Med | Small | Thumb ]
Clapadorie gorge from Forca...
Clapadorie gorge from Forca dei Disteis pass (2241m). This is the wildest scenery I saw anywhere in the mountains! When one ascends towards the pass, over a soft grassy slopes of Altipiano del Montasio, it is impossible to imagine that such a wild place lies behind. One has to see this to put it into perspective and experience what I'm saying, because no picture can do justice when it comes to Clapadorie gorge. On the right is Montaz's west wall while on the other side of the valley is Jof di Miez (1974m).
