Thanks. I wish that I could have spent more time framing and zooming. It is not so sharp and the sun created problems with overexposure. I was getting cold and did not want to hold up the group or get left behind for that matter. The light changes so quickly. By the time you dig out the camera from your warm jacket you can miss so much. The cold can cause the camera to shake as well. Would need to have a tripod and lots of time..... and a large format camera and 3 beautiful assistants... and warm coffee.... and am I leaving out anything. Thanks again. Cheers William

I remember going up Ranier in the 70's on a cold, windy day with a cumbersome SLR. Just fitting in an improptu photo opp was a major production and contradicted impromptu!

One my favorites on SP so far... Must have been hard not to just stop in your tracks and watch the sun spread out across all the mountains before you.
