Western Sierra del Pinar [ Sizes: Orig | Large | Med | Small | Thumb ]
Western Sierra del Pinar
Views to the west from Torreón (1.654 m). The rest of the Sierra del Pinar ridge dysplayed to the west. The most outstanding peak of the ridge is the 'Cerezo' (about 1.600 m). There is an interesting East/West traverse of the whole ridge, starting near the village of Benamahoma (reminiscens from arabic 'son of Mahoma') all the way to Pico San Cristóbal, near Grazalema, passing over all the summits. Photo taken in December 2005.
