East Face Pitch #2 [ Sizes: Orig | Med | Small | Thumb ]
East Face Pitch #2
Bruce following the steep 2nd pitch of the East Face. The crux mixed band is above him. The waterfall was not formed so I had to traverse to the right here to get around it. Beautiful exposure here.

Thanks for the vote. That would be a tough ski! Alpine ice and snow there, not just snow.

...but with soft snow on it, I bet it'd be great.

Thanks for checking out my photos and voting. This is a great route, probably my favorite for this whole year. Good alpine ice / steep snow lines are just pure mountain porn.

Thanks, it's a pretty sweet little route, and close to home for me.

No way. That slope is steep and is actually mostly alpine ice. It is a fairly serious route but super fun. You defintely want a rack of cams, screws, and pins, and a partner.

Cheers.
