The Ophir Pass Road grants access to the Ice Lake Basin and Ohpir-Telluride groups of mountains in Colorado's southwest range. This road is not a difficult 4WD road and it offers spectacular views. The trail runs from US 550 due west over the mountains to join Highway 145 south of Telluride.
