Silverton, Colorado, is nestled in the heart of the San Juan Mountains. The former mining town now caters to tourists, climbers, hikers, hunters and 4-wheelers. This view is from Highway 550 as it climbs to Molas Pass to the south. Storm Mountain watches over the town.
