A hiker makes her way up the Class 2 section of Uncompahgre Peak. In the background, looking west is the spire of Wetterhorn Peak, and the Sneffels Range beyond. The San Juan weather was ready to party on as usual. We were fortunate to get off the mountain before the fireworks started, but our haste made it happen. Makes for great lighting, though! This is one of my best photos of Wetterhorn. Summer, 1987.
