The west end of the Sneffels Range is often referred to as the Dallas Divide. Hayden Mountain marks the end of this range, seen here from the Last Dollar Road, and not far from where scenes from the film True Grit were filmed. The Last Dollar Road is a county road that can serve as a "short cut" to Telluride from Ridgway. A mild 4WD version of the road is also available, which has outstanding views of the San Miguel Range.
