Keyhole Ridge Route from The Boulderfield [ Sizes: Orig | Med | Small | Thumb ]
Keyhole Ridge Route from The Boulderfield
The elegant Keyhole Ridge Route is one of the best "fun in the sun" mountaineering routes on Longs Peak. Between the False Keyhole and the Access Ramp several variations possible. To keep the overall difficulty of the route in the middle 5th class range of difficulty see the picture of the route from the west for a 3rd/4th class route to the Access Ramp. The 5th class lead (5.5) is the 90 foot vertical pitch from the top of the Access Ramp to the ledge system leading to "Wee" Notch.
