Cnicht Ridge and Snowdon [ Sizes: Orig | Med | Small | Thumb ]
Cnicht Ridge and Snowdon
This shot from Moelwyn Mawr's summit in a Northern Westerly direction shows the ridge of Cnicht or the Welsh Matterhorn in the middle. This then has Snowdon easily visible in the background with its fine shapely pyramid summit.
Cnicht gets its name Welsh Matterhorn because when seen from other angles more in a Northern Easterly view it has a striking appearence to the Matterhorn.
