My buddy Brad and I do trail cleanup here two or three times a year, the last occasion being right after labor day '05. We emerged with four huge bags full of trash and debris. Hasn't voted | It was pretty clean the day I was there. I didn't notice any trash.
One thing that I did notice was that the meadow below Sam's Knob was full of campers the day I headed out to Middle Prong, but completely vacant when I returned the following day (a weekday).
