I parked my vehicle at Hug Point during my aborted attempt to do West Onion Peak. I had visited on a friday and the logging company was in full bore operations including some blasting so they made me turn back after I had hiked up about 2 miles. With extra time, I checked out the Hug Point beach area and found this special little waterfall as I walked north up the beach.
Do plan to enjoy this unique section of Oregon coastline while you are there.
There is no overnight parking in the Hug Point area.
