On a beautiful place by the road over Vrsic pass, the monument to a great climber and poet of Julian Alps, Julius Kugy stands. The old man is silently looking on the mountains around his beloved Trenta valley. Behind him, in the last sunrays, the walls of Veliko Spicje are shining.
