One of the most famous natural landmarks on the Oregon Coast is Haystack Rock at Cannon Beach, which is the large rock on the beach left of center in this photo from the summit of "West Onion Peak". Ecola State Park is to the right. This view and that of the volcanoes made the effort well worth it.
