After summiting Mt. Whitney from the west side, we headed to lower ground on the east side due to inbound bad weather. We found a beautiful ledge at the top of the 97 switchbacks that offered a spectacular views and a broad spectrum of color the following morning. Not surprisingly, getting 13 year old Daniel up in the AM was not easy.
