DURRANCE CRACK REVEALED 1.... [ Sizes: Orig | Small | Thumb ]
DURRANCE CRACK REVEALED 1....
DURRANCE CRACK REVEALED 1. This section of the Durrance Route, for many, consitutes the "crux" at around 5.6d. Here Mark demonstrates the "winning technique"; utilize both cracks, securely jamming hand and foot in the left crack ( which also happily accepts medim sized protection) while jamming arm, leg, hip, knee and everything else you can get, into the right crack. Progress might be slow but, it can be very secure!! Photo coutesy of Mark Grall.

Similar in many ways to the dreaded Smith Rock 4.10 rating!
