Routes on Franke
Cerro Franke (left – Yellow cross) and Cerro Lomas Amarillas (right – black cross) as seen from Cerro San Bernardo. The traverse route between the 2 summits is displayed in black. Franke normal route is the yellow one, possible ascent variation if starting from Piedra Grande (red cross) is displayed in bleu. Descent variation through scree fields is in green. The red trail, across the valley, links Las Vegitas campsite (to the left) to El Salto de Agua campsite (to the right), through Piedra Grande (red cross).

The picture showed is from Cerro Lomas Blancas. The San Bernardo appears in the picture at right, in first term.

Possible only if I climbed Lomas Blancas thinking it was San Bernardo !!!
More seriously, if it was from LB, wouldn't the camera and Franke summit be lined up rather with Las Veguitas camp instead of being lined up with Piedra Grande camp as its almost the case in this picture ? In this case, Las Veguitas camp is outside the picture to the left.
"at right, in first term", what we see is the ridge leading to Stepanek summit, just before A. Calle summit.
But no doubt, there are similarities between SB and LB and confusing is easy.
