Camp before the Storm [ Sizes: Orig | Med | Small | Thumb ]
Camp before the Storm
We arrived from our hike in and set-up camp beside the protecting rock prow, elev. 7,680'. After a short break we then traversed NW to the Easton Glacier (from the Squak) and had a Crevase Rescue practice. As can be seen in the photo the weather is increasing and rising to meet us, shortly we'll be enveloped in full-on conditions; the Eureka tent (photo center) was destroyed during the night. Photo taken May 1980.
