Blue Ridge Mountains

Fantastic interplay of clouds and mountains along the Blue Ridge Parkway/AT. Personally, I prefer this image Alternate Blue Ridge Mountains View, which was shot with a shorter lense, but the SP consensus is thus far for the one above. I've printed the other poster-size and it is (IMHO!) quite spectacular! Imaged in June 2004.

Thanks, Sajama! This was a telephoto shot of the same area imaged in a similar photo here on SummitPost. I go back and forth as to which is my personal favorite.

I have to admit that I'm partial to this one over the other, too, not that the other's a bad shot. I think this is a classic Blue Ridge scene, and I put up a special section just for it. I hope you'll check it out.
