Hasn't voted | Thanks, that is Ogden Canyon below seen from the Indian Trail. Jump-Off Canyon is located on the west side of Lewis Peak a little farther north. That area is also full of cliffs and requires a lot steep hiking and scrambling.
I have also climbed Lewis Peak from this side of the mountain. I've seen other people go up this way. My route went straight up the couloir in the photo. I then went cross-country to meet up with the ridge that connects with the actual summit of Lewis Peak. It was a very steep off-trail climb. | | Posted Jun 5, 2006 5:05 am |
