The afternoon light makes this a very inviting climb up Mount Henkel. A short (1.5 miles), steep (4000' in those 1.5 miles!), easy (all class 2 and 3) climb to a summit with a wonderful view. Well worth the effort! Photo by Vernon, July 19, 2005.
