The northeast side of Star Peak as seen from the West Fork Buttermilk Creek Trail about a mile before Fish Creek Pass. In the background on the left is the East Ridge. In the center is the Northeast Buttress. To the right of this above the ice patch is the North Face . The Northwest Ridge is on the right. At the upper left side of the mountain can be seen a snowpatch. This snowpatch lies on the ramp mentioned as a feasible climbing route in the Climbing Routes section. Photo taken July 27, 2002.
