Southwest view from near the summit of Red Butte towards the southern Oquirrh Mountains. You can see the lower summit across the ridge from Red Butte is still covered in snow. Red Butte had a lot less snow than its lower neighbor.

| lcarreau | Hello, hgrapid ??? ??? | |
Hasn't voted | I'm new to SP. I was just looking at your User Image, looks like you picked an interesting line of work. AND, as far as IMAGES go, looks like you've traveled extensively to satisfy your hunger for HIKES. I grew up in the Tooele Valley, just beyond the snow-capped Oquirrh Mountains in this photo. YES, I hope the Wasatch Range receives a lot more snow then what they did last year - heard that Truckee got snowed on already!!!
I kind of figure that snow is in your immediate future.
THANKS & take care. | | Posted Oct 7, 2007 3:31 pm |
