Traverse off Gunsight Pass [ Sizes: Orig | Large | Med | Small | Thumb ]
Traverse off Gunsight Pass
I picked a slightly different line this year, below the usual "high traverse" variation but way above my usual hard-crust workaround across the bottom of the bowl.
3/26/06 noon, looking back toward the pass from the rim of Anderson Flats.

Where is base camp? Do you all camp

It's done from a car camp some 3 miles North of the summer campground. Usualy some 20 or 30 people join, but of course most turn around short of the peak. You can find some event trivia here :)
