The upper bowl of the south fork of Deaf Smith Canyon. The west summit of Broads Fork Twin Peaks is the rounded snow covered high point left of center. Our original plan was to ascend to a saddle on the ridge at far left, but some wet avalance activity persuaded us to proceed right and follow the longer southwest ridge (skyline at right) to the summit.
